Will GTA 6 have cheat codes?
Unconfirmed. Every mainline Grand Theft Auto has shipped with them, and GTA 5 moved them onto the in-game phone, so something similar is a reasonable expectation — but Rockstar has said nothing about VI either way.
Do cheats disable achievements?
In GTA 5, yes — entering any cheat disables Trophies and Achievements for that session. Reloading a save clears the effect. Expect VI to behave the same way.
Do GTA 5 cheats work online?
No. Cheats are single-player only and have never worked in GTA Online. Attempting to modify GTA Online risks a ban.
How do the phone codes work?
Open the in-game phone, dial the number, and the cheat activates. There are 32 in total. Phone codes are identical across PlayStation, Xbox and PC, which is why we lead with them rather than per-controller button sequences.
When does GTA 6 come out?
19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar moved the date twice — first from an unspecified 2025 window to 26 May 2026, then to 19 November 2026.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Rockstar has not announced a PC version or a date for one. Every recent mainline Grand Theft Auto has reached PC eventually, but nothing about VI has been confirmed.
